Kashi Yatra group transport
The Kashi Yatra goes Prayagraj, Kashi, Gaya, and most groups that make it travel together as one party from the same town, samaj or mutt. The organiser collects money per head, so this page prices the whole circuit per seat, off the same rate card as everything else here.
The whole yatra, per seat
5 days from a Varanasi base: Prayagraj (250 km billed over 1 day), Gaya (500 km billed over 2 days), plus 2 Kashi days on the 8 hr / 80 km package. Driver allowance is included for every day. GST, toll, parking and the Bihar permit are extra. Per seat assumes every seat is filled.

Per seat holds only when every seat is taken: a part-full vehicle costs the same total, split fewer ways. Each extra day in Kashi adds one “Kashi day”.

The constraint
We drive; we do not run the rituals. The vehicle stops short of every ritual site: Kashi Vishwanath and the ghats are a walk from Godowlia, and at Prayagraj most groups take a boat out to the confluence, which is paid separately. Worth knowing
The order matters to the ritual, and to the bill
Prayagraj is a same-day return from Varanasi and Gaya is a two-day return, so a Varanasi base keeps every day inside the 250 km minimum. Staying in Kashi between the two legs also means one hotel, not three.
Pitru Paksha books out the big vehicles first
Gaya is busiest in the Pitru Paksha fortnight, and the 40 to 49-seaters go first. For those weeks, send the dates six weeks ahead.
Late trains carry the night allowance
Trains from the south often reach Varanasi between 11pm and 6am. A pickup in that window carries the driver allowance a second time. Send the train number and we will tell you before you book.
Count heads at every walking stop
A bus parks at Godowlia or Maidagin and the group walks about ten minutes to Kashi Vishwanath, longer with elders. Allow twenty minutes each way and a headcount before the bus leaves.

- Do you arrange the pandit and the pind daan at Gaya?
- No. Kashi Tempo is transport only: we drive the group to Vishnupad and wait. Kashi Rides, our sister brand, sells the Kashi Yatra as a package with the rituals arranged,.
- Can the vehicle pick us up at Prayagraj or drop us at Gaya?
- Yes. A one-way leg is billed for the vehicle's return to Varanasi as well, so ask for both prices: starting in Varanasi is often the same money with one less hotel change.
- Will the driver speak Tamil, Telugu or Kannada?
- Drivers speak Hindi and some English. Most groups travel with an organiser who handles the language. If you want a guide who speaks your language, Kashi Rides arranges one.
