The Ertiga is the vehicle most families actually need and rarely ask for. It carries six without the third row feeling like punishment, swallows three suitcases, and runs at ₹16/km — the same rate as an Innova Crysta but with a noticeably lower day rate on local packages.

Not the right choice for
A six-hour outstation leg with six adults. The third row is fine for an hour to Sarnath, tight to Bodhgaya. For that distance take the Crysta.
